Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking dependable CDL-A tractor-trailer drivers for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment to hospitals and clinics in West Virginia. Night shifts run 2 PM–6 PM and 12 AM–4 AM with 8–10 hour shifts across 4–5 nights per week; training lasts 4–6 weeks to learn routes and setup/tear-down procedures.

Applicants should have a clean DOT record, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and pass background and drug tests. Benefits include health, vision, dental, paid time off, 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL-A with DOT medical certification.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with delivery of medical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with automatic transmission for mobile medical equipment deliveries.
• Move trailers to client sites and set up/tear down equipment as required.
• Perform 30–45 minute setup/teardown at each location.
• Coordinate with hospitals and clinics for nightly routes and scheduling.
