Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner/Medication Assistant for the 11pm-7am shift in North Port, FL. This part-time role focuses on medication reminders, administration within state guidelines, and supporting residents’ daily needs.

Qualified candidates have a CNA credential, state medication certification, ESL competency, and basic First Aid/CPR as required. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to impact resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• CNA certification required.
• Must complete ESL medication competency upon hire per state regulation.
• First Aid and CPR certification if required by state law.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
• Administers medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medication; ensure meds available and communicate with pharmacy.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents.
• Maintain resident records daily in the digital platform; report changes.
• Perform room visits and room checks regularly.
• Assist with resident care when needed; respond to requests and emergencies.
• Monitor safety and communicate changes to supervisor on duty.
• May perform other duties as needed.
