Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for a full-time on-site role. You will supervise patients, conduct safety checks, and support clinical staff to maintain a secure and therapeutic environment in our addiction and mental health care program.

Ideal candidates have a 23+ age requirement, a high school diploma or higher, and a clean driving record. Experience in addiction or mental health settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds for safety and report incidents.
• Conduct urine drug screens and pregnancy tests per policy.
• Provide empathetic support and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high‑quality care and smooth operations.
• Assist with patient transport, group activities and discharge prep.
