Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor for Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay - Downtown. The role focuses on maintaining financial controls, coordinating with Security and Housekeeping, and ensuring quality guest service across a busy downtown hotel.

The position involves auditing revenue, generating daily reports, balancing accounts, and ensuring system readiness for the next shift. Hotel experience is preferred, with strong math and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing POS tapes and breakdown of revenue, tips, fees and settlements.
• Run audit reports from the front office system and POS.
• Make corrections and address computer problems during the shift.
• Input revenue/expenses into the front office system to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for the next day.
