Job summary

The position reports to the Front Office Manager and requires strong customer service and clerical skills. Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying payments, balancing receipts, coordinating with housekeeping, and providing information on hotel services.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and balancing financial transactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate property management systems.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Verify payments and process credit authorizations.
• Balance daily receipts and conduct income audits.
• Assist guests with check-out and resolve discrepancies.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries.
• Coordinate with overnight housekeeping and maintenance.
• Create reservations and maintain accurate data entry.
• Provide guests with information on services and attractions.
• Document guest feedback and escalate issues to management.
