Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Night Auditor in Mountain View, CA to manage guest arrivals, payments, and nightly balances in line with brand standards. The role requires a calm, guest-focused demeanor and the ability to stay at the front desk during shifts.

You will handle check-in/out, maintain security of keys and guest property, and provide local information to guests, while ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
• Experience in cash handling and maintaining security of confidential information.
• Pass certification tests required to meet brand standards.
• Strong computer/data entry skills.
• Works well with others and maintains guest focus.

Responsibilities

• Execute guest reservations, check-ins/outs, and payments per brand standards.
• Maintain a friendly, hospitable attitude and be present at the desk during shifts.
• Acquire knowledge of local attractions to assist guests.
• Ensure collections (credit card/direct bill) align with policies.
• Maintain control over keys, safe deposits, and guest property.
• Monitor competitor occupancy/rates to optimize pricing.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Quote daily rates and issue credits as needed.
• Perform other duties to support guest satisfaction.
