Job summary

Auburn Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions while delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will manage hotel systems (PBX, door locks, PMS) and balance the cash drawer, with night shifts and potential front desk coverage as needed.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work overnight in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Complete brand-specific training.
• Adhere to Auburn Hospitality standards.
• Balance the day’s business in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Be able to work all night and other shifts as needed.
• Knowledge of hotel systems including PBX, key lock, and PMS.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Keep the hotel running while the city sleeps – join us as a Night Auditor!Night Auditors will be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions. The Night Auditor will also deliver an outstanding guest experience for all guests. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.Job Requirements:Complete all required brand specific trainingComplete all required health and safety trainingAdhere to all Auburn Hospitality and property specific brand standardsPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsProvide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associateBalance the day’s business in a neat, orderly, and timely fashionBe able to work all night, and also be available for other shifts at front desk when necessaryHave knowledge of all hotel systems including phone PBX, key lock, and PMS reservation systemsCan complete all tasks described on the relevant shift check listCheck credit of guest accounts daily and follow up if action is requiredMust have knowledge of surrounding areaKeep cash drawer secure and in balance throughout the shiftSell and up sell rooms to walk-in guests and phone reservationsHave general knowledge of housekeepingNecessary Skills:Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assetsHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation proceduresHave dependable transportation availableAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personAble to work a flexible schedule.
