Hampton Inn Fultondale is seeking a reliable Hotel Night Auditor to oversee nightly hotel operations and ensure accurate financial records while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires handling nightly audits, guest check-ins/outs, inquiries, and reports for management. You will collaborate with departments, monitor security, and maintain adherence to hotel policies during the night shift. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in hospitality or accounting preferred.
• Previous experience in hotel front desk or audit operations is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of hotel transactions, ensuring all accounts balance accurately and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
• Process all guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling reservations, cancellations, and changes promptly.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and distribute daily summary reports for hotel management, highlighting occupancy rates, revenue reports, and potential issues.
• Reconcile and post charges to guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
• Monitor hotel security and safety by conducting regular walks through the property and responding to emergency situations if needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.
• Ensure all hotel policies, procedures, and standards are followed consistently.
