Job summary

Quality Oil Co is seeking an Oberlin-based Night Auditor to balance daily revenue and expenses and perform Guest Services Representative duties. This hourly full-time role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and reliable attendance, with duties including cash handling, audit reporting, and guest assistance.

Responsibilities include balancing accounts, preparing folios for Express CheckOut, handling safety procedures, and assisting guests with local information.

Responsibilities

• Closing and balancing all room accounts.
• Balancing cash and credit card receipts.
• Verifying and balancing vouchers.
• Running a trial balance report.
• Investigating or analyzing out-of-balance situations.
• Making adjustments or corrections to accounts as needed.
• Printing and distributing various computer audit reports.
• Completing required revenue and expense reports.
• Preparing guest folios for Express CheckOut.
• Knowledge of hotel fire and safety procedures; monitors property security.
• Opening and stocking daily breakfast as needed.
• Providing information to guests about hotel services and local area.
• Responding to guest requests and information needs.
• Communicating requests and complaints to team members.
• Balancing shift work and cash drawers.
• Performing shuttle/van driver responsibilities as needed.
