Qualifications

• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and perform essential job functions.
• Read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Check guest in and out of room.
• Input and retrieve information routinely from computer systems; match rooms to guest needs.
• Promptly answer telephone in a professional manner; enter guest requests and complaints into the system.
• Deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
• Answer guest questions regarding area or hotel, outlets, and services.
• Greet and welcome guests on arrival to the hotel.
• Cash handling with responsibility for House Bank.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
