The Lofton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a front desk associate to greet guests, handle check-in and check-out, and provide outstanding service in a busy entertainment district.

You will input guest information, respond to requests, manage phone inquiries, and maintain accuracy in cash handling and records. A high school diploma is required, and you will enjoy benefits like meals, room discounts, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Check guest in and out of room.
• Input and retrieve information routinely from computer systems.
• Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs.
• Promptly answer telephone in professional and clear manner.
• Input all information into computers to communicate guest requests and complaints.
• Deal with internal and external customers with patience and tact to resolve conflicts.
• Answer guest questions regarding area or hotel, outlets and services.
• Greet and welcome guest as they arrive to the hotel.
• Cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
