Commonwealth Hotels is seeking a Hotel Night Auditor and Overnight Front Desk Agent for the Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. This full-time overnight role handles check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest services with a focus on hospitality excellence.

Ideal candidates bring experience in guest-facing roles, strong communication, and the ability to multitask during irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, such as hospitality, retail, or food service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver exceptional service.
• Familiarity with computers and property management or reservation systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for guests and team members.
• Experience handling guest concerns calmly and effectively.
• Ability to multitask across phones, reservations, and guest requests.
• Knowledge of front desk operations and check-in/check-out procedures is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Check-In and Check-Out processing with a welcoming, efficient approach.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Process payments, deposits, and refunds in line with hotel policies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate when needed to maintain satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of guest stays and transactions in the PMS.
• Upsell rooms and hotel amenities to enhance guest experience.
