Job summary

Stonebridge in New Orleans is seeking a Night Auditor to manage the overnight shift, balance revenues, and provide guest services such as check-ins and check-outs. The role requires attention to detail and strong guest interaction skills.

You will use the property management system to balance accounts, perform nightly audits, assist guests, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensure accurate records and security throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer service experience required or preferred.
• Basic bookkeeping and cash handling skills.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with property management systems (PMS) and office software.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Verify payments and process authorizations.
• Maintain accurate room availability and guest accounts in the PMS.
• Balance daily receipts and perform income audits.
• Assist guests with checkout and resolve discrepancies.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance overnight.
• Make and confirm reservations with accurate data entry.
• Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Document guest feedback and escalate issues.
• Perform nightly bucket checks for compliance with standards.
• Support safety and security during overnight shifts.
