Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee the front desk during the night shift, ensuring guest payments are posted and accounts reconciled. You will maintain a courteous demeanor, handle reservations, and respond promptly to inquiries in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities include balancing daily transactions, posting to rooms, and ensuring proper billing for groups, while using hotel systems. Experience in hospitality and a strong eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles.
• Front desk or night audit experience preferred in hospitality.
• Experience with brand or property PMS, Quore, PBX and hotel systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar applications.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
• Accurately answers inquiries and accepts hotel reservations.
• Resolves guest problems quickly while showing urgency.
• Responds to reservations, information, and guest concerns promptly.
• Uses suggestive selling to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Balances accounts from day shifts and posts end-of-day.
