Raines Co. – Your Future is Now! Raines Co. is seeking a Night Auditor to manage front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring guest payments are posted and accounts reconciled for the day.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service, front-facing, or other guest-related positions.
Prior hospitality experience as a front desk agent or night auditor is preferred.
Experience with brand or property-specific PMS, Quore, PBX, and other hotel-related systems.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related major preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
Resolves guest problems and complaints efficiently while showing urgency
Responds to inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns in a timely manner
Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue
Resolves customer issues, complaints, and problems to maintain high customer satisfaction
Allocates rooms to arrivals after considering guest preferences and requests
Ensures wake-up calls and messages are handled promptly and professionally
Cross-checks billing instructions to ensure accuracy
Handles group arrivals and pre-registers guests
Ensures payments are made or on file and billing is routed correctly for groups
Completes cash transactions and maintains personal bank
Keeps front desk log updated
Ensures safety by following check-in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity
Balances accounts from day shifts
Checks payment methods are up to date and matched to rooms
Posts transactions from outlets to rooms or ledger accounts
Verifies end-of-day processes are completed
Ensures M3 is balanced and reports issues to supervisor
Records room cleaning in Hotel Effectiveness
Attends meetings as required
Weekend availability required
