Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor at TownePlace Suites Springfield in Virginia. The role involves reconciling cashier transactions, preparing daily operating reports, and providing check-in/check-out and reservations support to guests.

You will also reconcile financial records and assist management with timely reporting. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to work late/overnight shifts, with strong communication and numerical skills to ensure

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work late/overnight shifts.
• Must be able to read and understand financial information and perform basic arithmetic.
• Willing to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
• Must communicate effectively with employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions and ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Review, organize and compile management reports on a daily basis.
• Perform guest service duties including check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily and month-end reports.
• Audit, reconcile and transmit credit card transactions timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and proper handling of guest requests.
