Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Springfield Old Keene Mill in Springfield, VA is seeking a Night Auditor to staff the overnight desk. You will greet guests, verify charges, manage cash, and ensure the lobby and systems are ready for the next day.

This part-time role offers competitive pay, a daily pay option, and generous hotel discounts, with benefits for eligible associates. Previous night-audit experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and reliable attendance are valued as well.

Qualifications

• 6 months–1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Desire to work overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential guest information with integrity.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash.
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet.
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate.
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests.
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis.
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed.
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed.
• All other duties as assigned.
