Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee nightly financial and administrative activities in Newport, RI. The role requires keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently during the night shift.

You will handle guest check-ins/outs, manage reservations, balance daily revenue, post charges, and prepare reports for the next day while ensuring data protection and high service levels for overnight guests.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent or experience.
• Experience in hotel front office operations or guest services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with hotel management software and computer systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services: Assist guests with late check-ins and early check-outs.
• Front Desk Operations: Process check-ins/outs and manage night-time reservations.
• Nightly Reports and Reconciliation: Compile and balance daily revenue and reconcile guest accounts.
• Accounting and Bookkeeping: Post charges and close day’s transactions in PMS.
• Security and Safety: Monitor premises and respond to emergencies during the night shift.
