Job summary

The Elyton in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Night Auditor to support our new opening hotel AC/ Element. The Night Auditor will balance daily accounts, welcome guests, manage front desk operations, and process check-ins/outs while ensuring security and accurate daily postings.

Ideal candidates have hotel front desk experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work overnight hours (10:00-11:00 pm start) with independence and teamwork as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Six months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently on shift.

Responsibilities

• Balancing the accounts from day shift.
• Welcome guests and assign rooms.
• Manage front desk activity and guest check-ins/outs.
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify I.D.
• Register guests and collect stay details.
• Schedule wake-up calls and handle guest requests.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Create invoices, bills and checks for vendors, employees and contractors.
• Maintain official documentation and end-of-day bookkeeping.
• Answer calls and assist with bookings and rate information.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized experiences.
• Maintain standards and company policies.
• Complete computerized audit at end of business day.
