Qualifications

• One year of experience in a similar position or guest service role with night audit duties.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to operate a variety of computer applications.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and alternating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Post charges and transactions to guest accounts.
• Maintain and transfer charges to master accounts.
• Investigate out-of-balance situations and correct as needed.
• Prepare daily revenue summaries and front office reports.
• Perform end-of-day system procedures for the next day.
• Act as night manager-on-duty and complete MOD report.
• Assist guests with check-in/out and rate questions.
• Resolve guest complaints using the hotel method, escalating when needed.
• Complete end-of-shift deposits according to cash-handling standards.
• Maintain security awareness and report risks to supervisors.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain safe habits.
