Job summary

Wright Investments seeks a Night Auditor to balance daily revenue and expenses for the hotel while delivering exceptional guest service. The role may serve as the manager-on-duty and ensures overnight Front Office operations run smoothly.

You will post charges to guest accounts, prepare daily revenue summaries, assist guests with check-in/check-out, resolve service issues, and maintain cash-handling accuracy while staying organized in a busy hotel environment. Weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting procedures and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to operate a variety of computer applications.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and alternating shifts.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform light physical movements.

Responsibilities

• Post charges and transactions to guest accounts.
• Maintain and transfer charges to master accounts.
• Investigate out-of-balance situations and make corrections.
• Prepare daily revenue summaries and front office reports.
• Perform end-of-day system procedures and prep for next day.
• Serve as night manager-on-duty and complete the MOD report.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out and inquiries.
• Resolve guest issues using the Guest Service Recovery method.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and deposits per cash-handling standards.
• Maintain awareness of security and safety and report risks.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
