Job summary

Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. The role balances and reconciles hotel accounts, prepares guest bills, and delivers top-notch guest service during overnight hours.

The starting pay is $17.50 per hour and is based on experience. Benefits include 401K, vision, dental, medical, life insurance, room discounts, PTO, holidays, flexible scheduling, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or hospitality training preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is strongly preferred.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately reconcile accounts and handle cash transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform all front desk functions during the night shift, including checking in and out guests, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries and requests.
• Balance and reconcile all hotel accounts, including cash, credit card, and direct bill accounts, ensuring accuracy and completion.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, and audit reports.
• Complete all tasks related to guest billing, including posting charges, collecting payments, and ensuring the accuracy of guest bills.
• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests by monitoring and controlling access to the building and responding to any emergencies that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the night shift.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure all guest requests and needs are met during the night shift.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
