Job summary

Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods is seeking a Guest Services Representative to manage front desk tasks, reservations, and guest services with a service-oriented mindset.

Pay starts at $16.50 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation and sick pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent hospitality training.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred.
• Basic math skills are essential for daily desk operations.
• Attention to detail is critical for reservations and billing.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Uses upselling techniques to promote rooms and hotel services.
• Handles front desk duties including check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Answers guest inquiries promptly and offers solutions when needed.
• Provides hospitable and accommodating service to guests throughout their stay.
• Documents guest accidents by completing incident reports.

Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Guest Services Representative to join our team!

As Guest Service Representative you will represent the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay. This position is responsible for performing the activities of the front desk including reservations, guest services, and telephone calls.

Pay starts at $16.50 and is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel and upsells hotel rooms according to hotel standard procedures.
• Follows all guidelines in regardto guest service, including, bt not limited to check-in, reservations, check out, special requests and pre-registration
• Respond promptly to any guests’ inquiries or complaints in a friendly mannerand offer alternate solutions if guestdemand cannot be met
• Demonstrate commitment to servicing the guest by being hospitable and accommodating
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred OR 6 months of related experience/training
• One year of hospitality experience preferred
• Experience handling cash and credit card procedures
• Basic Math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
