Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Downtown Miami is seeking a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions, review management reports, and ensure accurate guest billing. The role includes check-in/check-out duties, switchboard operations and reservations as needed.

You will also audit Front Desk and F&B cashier work, and transmit credit card settlements promptly while maintaining guest satisfaction and reporting daily figures for the hotel. The position requires flexibility for late/overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Late/Overnight shift
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions and ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Review, organize and compile management reports on a timely basis.
• Perform guest service duties including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations as required.
• Audit and reconcile Front Desk and Food & Beverage Cashier’s work; transmit credit card settlements on a timely basis.
