Job summary

The Night Auditor at Highgate Hotels is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, preparing daily management reports, and ensuring accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. This role also supports guest services tasks during check-in, check-out, and reservations as needed.

Required are strong numerical skills, a willingness to cross-train, and the ability to multitask under deadlines; the position entails evening/night shifts and a high standard of customer

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of financial information and data.
• Willingness to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling cashier transactions and auditing front desk cash handling.
• Prepare and distribute daily operating reports and month-end summaries.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and switchboard duties as required.
• Audit and reconcile credit card transactions and financial reports.
• Maintain accuracy of statistics and financial data across systems.
