Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Las Vegas is seeking a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions and review management reports, ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. The role also includes guest service duties such as check-in, check-out, reservations, and switchboard operations.

You will communicate concerns to management, prepare daily and month-end reports, and cross-train in other hotel accounting areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Guest Service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Audit and reconcile Front Desk and Food & Beverage Cashier’s work.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required (e.g., Daily Operating Report, Tax Reports).
• Perform guest services functions such as check-in/check-out and reservations.
