Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Bethesda, to support the front office team. You will audit, balance and report on hotel operations, providing accurate information and professional guest service during night shifts.

The role includes front desk duties, check-ins/outs, PBX operations and daily report preparation. A high school education is required; accounting background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Accounting background preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate personal computer, cash register and calculator.
• Telephone and guest relations etiquette and skills.
• Moderate hearing required to communicate with guests.
• Excellent speech communication skills.
• Excellent comprehension and literacy for reading daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report on all food and beverage outlets cash and credit operations; include deposits and postings.
• Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk: room charges, taxes, deposits, etc.
• Audit, balance and prepare room information; input statistics for daily reports.
• Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily.
• Run night audit final after revenues are in balance nightly.
• Greet and complete check-in procedures for arriving guests.
• Facilitate guest check-out and close guest accounts.
• Maintain customer relations with timely, knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
• Operate PBX equipment for wake-up calls and guest paging.
• Perform duties of Front Desk Clerk including express checkouts.
