Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott - Mason, OH is seeking a Night Auditor to summarize nightly financial activity, post room charges and taxes, and prepare daily reports for management. You will balance revenue, verify postings, and ensure all guest transactions are accurately reflected in system totals.

This role requires precise data entry, adherence to hotel procedures, and the ability to work overnight shifts while maintaining courteous guest service, teamwork, and security of financial records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality or guest services experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and register guests upon arrival into the computer system, verifying reservation information.
• Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints. Communicate all guests needs to next shift.
• Verify that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments/guest accounts.
• Print up and file reservations for the next business day.
• Prepare daily reports as required by management.
• Balance the day’s charges and prepare end-of-day procedures.
• Input revenue and expenses to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlements and reset systems for the next day.
