Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Columbus, OH is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee nightly front desk operations, reconcile daily transactions, and prepare reports for the next day’s operations. This role emphasizes accurate accounting, guest service, and manager-on-duty coverage.

The Night Auditor will handle check-ins/outs, payments, safety deposit access, and maintain SOP compliance while upselling opportunities to improve revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in an accounting or front office position preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and handle confidential information.
• Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, with walking/standing as needed; lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties including guest check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Reconcile daily front desk transactions and post room charges.
• Run the trial balance and prepare next-day reports for multiple departments.
• Provide exceptional guest service and handle complaints promptly.
• Process payments, manage house bank, and prepare receipt reports.
• Respond to guest inquiries and assist with transportation and luggage as needed.
• Maintain SOPs and operate the PMS and electronic key system, keeping area orderly.
