Job Description:

The Night Auditor is expected to provide excellent customer service to all guests they encounter. Excellent service requires offering Ultimate Service with a smile and promoting the brand standards we are known for – uncompromised service with a focus on guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for ensuring all guest-related financials are accurately entered and reported, making corrections as necessary.

Job Requirements:
  • Complete all brand required training
  • Complete all required Safety & Health training
  • Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company daily
  • Verify wake-up call requests and handle them properly
  • Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the shift
  • Make deposits of cash
  • Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and reset the day's business
  • Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during evening hours
  • Act as PBX operator during the audit shift
  • Attend and participate in all front office meetings
  • Participate in all training and cross-training programs
  • Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor
Necessary Skills:
  • Ability to understand and use math concepts to manage hotel financials and communicate them clearly
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Willingness to adapt to meet business demands
  • Focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions
  • Mastery of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Climb stairs
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Use a ladder and step stool
  • Lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds periodically
  • Pull up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity to distinguish objects near and far
