The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Audit responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. During these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as check-ins/check-outs, making reservations, and answering questions.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Proactive thinking, ensuring guest security, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
2. Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
3. Checking the front desk log for problems and special requests.
4. Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
5. Processing guest registrations and payments.
6. Preparing express checkout folios.
7. Maintaining room status inventory.
8. Communicating shift information to relevant staff, including the Front Office Manager and General Manager.
9. Maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
10. Ensuring a smooth transition between shifts through effective communication.
11. Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
12. Answering inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local directions.
13. Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
14. Performing other duties as assigned by management.
