Job description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Night Audit role is a key contributor for Innisbrook. This individual serves the Accounting function by balancing and closing the books each day, while supporting the Front Office operation during the overnight hours. As such, this individual reports to both the Front Office Manager and the Director of Finance. This individual typically works a schedule close to 11pm - 7am.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Verifies all account postings and balances.
• Run end of day process in property management software PMS and POS systems.
• Balance credit card transactions and process credit card batches.
• Monitors the current status of gift card, discount, and other promotional programs.
• Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Provide next day reports to Accounting, Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive office as required.
• Reconcile and complete all daily cash handler’s drops vs. system cash called for.
• Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned.
