Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking a friendly, customer service oriented Night Auditor to oversee front desk operations during the night shift. You will assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, review day shift payments, and ensure guest requests are handled professionally.

This role emphasizes accurate cash handling and credit card processing, auditing and balancing transactions, and maintaining 100% guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests and resolve guest challenges to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Accurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activities.
• Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, charges, postings etc. in the hotel in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

We are in search for a friendly, customer service oriented individual to fulfill a Full-time Night Auditor role. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk duties at a hotel or another hospitality establishment during the night shift. Their duties include helping guests check-in or check out, reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests and acting as a point of communication for customer needs.
