Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a hotel night audit professional to manage end-of-day cash and revenue processes across outlets and front desk. You will verify balances, post transactions, and generate daily reports while ensuring accurate cash handling.

The role requires 6–12 months in a related position, comfort with POS systems and accounting basics, and a guest‑oriented, problem‑solving approach. Hospitality setting experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Six to twelve months of employment in related position or office setting.
• Accounting or hospitality experience a bonus.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills; ability to stand for extended periods; sociable, guest service‑oriented demeanor.
• Good judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit operations for outlets; posts, deposits, and reports and resets registers.
• Reconcile cashier reports with the restaurant system nightly and post unresolved tickets.
• Maintain and post a daily balance of all house accounts and run preliminary reconciliations.
• Audit and report on front desk activities: room charges, deposits, taxes, adjustments, etc.
• Prepare statistics and income journals for daily reports and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Balance revenue streams and close bank ticket codes; transmit credit card batches.
• Run night audit final and transmit daily management and accounting reports.
