Job summary

Responsibilities

• Retrieve daily postings and transactions entered by staff.
• Run reports reflecting room status and revenue to verify figures.
• Post room tax and fees to occupied rooms nightly.
• Balance and record postings in each outlet.
• Process and submit for payment all credit card transactions.
• Record cash, checks, gift cards, and credit card transactions.
• Field calls from guests and employees and direct to proper departments.
• Cross-train in other accounting areas as needed.
• Maintain records of accounting deadlines and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
