Job summary

The Barfield in Amarillo, TX, managed by Coury Hospitality, seeks an experienced Night Audit / Front Office professional. You will lead overnight operations, handle guest needs, and ensure safety and smooth check-ins for a 24/7 hotel environment.

The role requires Night Audit duties, strong customer service, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will coordinate with leadership to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service and Night Audit experience required.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform all night audit accounting duties.
• Experience handling guest complaints and VIP requests.
• Ability to manage and supervise front desk and lobby operations.

Responsibilities

• Night time senior leadership role dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
• Must be able to perform the full night audit.
• Prepare and send out all required daily reports.
• Front desk/front office and front of the house operations.
• Hotel guest and Food and Beverage satisfaction.
• Conflict resolution for guests.
• Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Inform all Overnight staff of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests.
• Check accommodations and escort guests to their rooms when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional, high-quality service environment at all times.
• Welcome guests in a friendly, helpful manner and keep public areas clean and orderly.
• Occasionally assist guests with luggage and valet parking as needed.
• Participate in decision-making on guest relocation during overcapacity and coordinate with leadership.
• Oversee preparation of daily summary reports.
• Enforce fire-life-safety procedures.
