Job summary

Arbour Hospital is seeking an Admissions RN to join our 7pm-7am, 36-hour per week team. You will oversee admissions, coordinate with referral sources, verify insurance, and ensure timely intake for behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Massachusetts (MA).
• Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all admissions processes and serve as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, and hospital personnel involved with each admission.
• Process inquiry and referral calls and respond to request for hospital and program information, assessment, and possible admission.
• Verify insurance, triage patients, enter calls and admissions in computer and complete all admission paperwork with patient.
• Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, staff, and referral sources.
