Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Massachusetts.
• Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in psychiatric health care; DSM-V knowledge helpful.
• Excellent communication and ability to prioritize under stress; data entry skills and basic computing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all admissions processes and serve as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, and hospital personnel involved with each admission
• Process inquiry and referral calls and respond to requests for admission information
• Verify insurance, triage patients, enter calls and admissions in computer systems and complete admission paperwork
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and referral sources
