Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria and mental status exam
• Supervisor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone with proper greeting to obtain clinical, demographic and insurance details.
• Performs telephonic risk screening to assess suicidality/homicidality.
• Recommends appropriate admission or outpatient services based on criteria.
• Schedules assessments and explains the admissions process to callers.
• Enters information into the electronic medical records system accurately.
