Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Security Officer - Entry Control in Boise, ID. The role focuses on controlling access, verifying badges, and delivering excellent customer service at a technology-focused construction site.

You will monitor entry points, log incidents, and maintain professional communication with site contacts, while adhering to post orders and safety standards.

Qualifications

• State, county or city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening per applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries by enforcing access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and issue temporary access credentials.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entry points, perimeters, and parking areas to detect unauthorized access.
• Document daily activities and incidents in required reports and communicate with leadership.
