Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer - Access Control Coordinator in Boise, ID. You will manage access points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support entry processes while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role requires attention to policy compliance, professional communication, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Experience with access-control procedures and badge management is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with site personnel and documenting incidents and daily activities.
