Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Access Control Coordinator in Boise, ID. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and support badge access processes while delivering exceptional customer service at a dynamic tech/telecom site.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. You will be part of a professional security team, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors alike.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience or feel comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Experience with access control and badge issuance is preferred.
• Ability to operate computer or tablet for logging and verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors while following access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials and visitor authorizations.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain logs of incidents and daily activities.
• Maintain professional presence and clear communication with site personnel.
