Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Badge Checkpoint in Boise, ID. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence at a technology location.

Role requires experience with access control or badge processes, plus strong customer service and computer/tablet skills. A valid security license is preferred; background checks and drug screening are standard.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge processes preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• State/municipal security license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees per site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Operate access-control systems, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
