Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Operations Supervisor, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the Overnight Shift at the Hartford Service Center. The role requires 5+ years in heavy/line aircraft maintenance with leadership experience and an A&P certificate per FAR part 65.

You will supervise maintenance, ensure safety, and coordinate resources across multiple teams. Responsibilities include audits, policy administration, and liaison with engineering, shop floors, and departments to drive efficiency while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience (aircraft maintenance preferred).
• A&P Certificate or certificated under FAR part 65.
• Working knowledge of applicable FARs (part 91, 121, 135, 145).
• Working knowledge of jet aircraft maintenance inspection programs.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental rules in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment by supervising safety programs and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Conduct safety/security audits and address discrepancies.
• Supervise assigned employees: time cards, reviews, and training needs.
• Coordinate unscheduled aircraft maintenance at locations other than Repair Station.
• Ensure work complies with Repair Station/Quality Manual and FARs.
• Manage resources to maximize productivity and reduce DOI; request engineering support as needed.
• May act on behalf of Customer Project Manager during absences.
