Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the overnight shift at our Hartford Service Center in Windsor Locks, CT. This role focuses on maintaining aircraft structures and systems, performing complex repairs and supporting service operations alongside a skilled team.

The position requires an FAA A&P certificate, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent
• Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
• Proficient with basic PC tools and SAP or similar systems

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems
• Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems
• May assist in complete engine and/or APU runs, as required
• Provide time estimates
• Train, coach and support other employees
• May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA
