Job summary

Bombardier in Windsor Locks seeks a Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the overnight shift. You will perform complex repairs, participate in engine/APU runs as needed, and assist in service-order creation using SAP, while mentoring teammates and ensuring quality standards.

Qualified candidates hold FAA A&P certification, with 5+ years of aircraft maintenance and 1+ year jet experience; strong drawing interpretation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in aircraft maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
• Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems.
• May assist in complete engine and/or APU runs as required.
• Provide time estimates for maintenance tasks.
• Train, coach and support other employees.
• May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as QA-qualified.
