Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the overnight shift at Hartford Service Center. This role involves performing complex repairs on aircraft systems and supporting service orders via SAP.

An FAA A&P certificate and 5+ years of maintenance experience are required. The position is a permanent overnight (3rd shift) role with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM hours and alternating shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Current, valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Own basic set of hand tools with ability to inventory & control tools.
• Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications as required.
• Willingness to work unscheduled overtime and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
• Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems.
• May assist in complete engine and/or APU runs, as required.
• Provide time estimates.
• Train, coach and support other employees.
• May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as QA-qualified.
