Job summary

Bombardier Windsor Locks is seeking a Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the Evening Shift at the Hartford Service Center. The role requires a valid FAA A&P certificate and extensive maintenance experience on aircraft and jet systems.

You will perform complex repairs, prepare service orders, and may run engine/APU checks. Strong communication and tool handling skills are essential for training peers and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
• Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems.
• May assist in complete engine and / or APU runs, as required.
• Provide time estimates.
• Train, coach and support other employees.
• May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA.
