Nemours is seeking a unit clerk to join our NICU. This full-time day position includes weekend and holiday requirements and supports the nursing staff by facilitating communication and unit operations.

Responsibilities include front desk coverage, relaying information from physicians and nurses, updating the unit board, and ensuring smooth information flow for patient care across the hospital. A high school diploma and BLS are required or preferred, with clerical experience in healthcare

Qualificações

• Medical terminology training preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a health care setting preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients at front desk and handle calls.
• Deliver reports and supplies to patient areas.
• Relay information accurately between physicians, nurses and labs.
• Use information systems for patient care and enter orders.
• Maintain unit board and organize work area.
• Communicate with the patient care team to relay unit needs
