Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support the NICU at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

You will evaluate patients, develop age-appropriate therapy plans, and work closely with families and clinical teams to optimize communication outcomes. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, IL licensure or eligibility, and CCC-SLP within 90 days; CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language program.
• Current License or eligibility in the State of Illinois.
• CCC-SLP within first 90 days of start.
• CPR/BLS Heartsaver certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patients in terms of speech-language pathology and follows clinical pathways.
• Establishes age-specific plan of care and goals based on evaluation results.
• Re-evaluates effectiveness of treatment and updates the care plan as needed.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers to meet educational needs.
• Collaborates with families, physicians and rehabilitation staff to coordinate care.
